VGA Planets: Skyfire ("the game", "we") is an online strategy game. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your choices. Playing as a guest stores nothing about you; the below applies once you sign in.
What we collect
- Account identity. When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account's name and email address, and a stable Google user identifier. Your email is used only to identify your account; it is never shown to other players. The name you play under is a call sign you choose in-game (not your real name unless you make it so).
- Game progress. Your chosen call sign, unlocked races and cards, ranks, merit, megacredits, and win/loss record.
We do not collect location, contacts, device identifiers for advertising, or payment information. The game contains no ads and no tracking.
How we use it
Solely to run the game โ to save your progress, match you with opponents of a similar rank, and let you sign back in on any device. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Sign-in is handled by Google under Google's Privacy Policy.
Where it's stored
On our own server in the European Union. Data is retained until you delete your account.
Deleting your data
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time: in the app, open Settings โ Delete account. You can also request deletion via the page at /delete-account.html or by contacting us. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
